The second sub-micron Filtrete filter by 3M captures 99.97% of all the airborne particles as small as .1 microns from the air. The third activated charcoal filter absorbs and helps eliminate cooking odors, tobacco smoke odors, and pet related odors. This filter measures approximately 4 1/4 x 10 1/4 x 1 1/2 and uses Filtrete electrostatically charged filter material. For optimum performance, replace filter every 3 to 6 months.
